All current Northumbria students can become involved in our volunteer programmes regardless of their academic course or year of study.
However, we do encourage students to become involved during their first year as this is the only way they will be eligible to apply for an internship position in the second and third years.
Volunteers can commit to as many or as few hours as they wish for our one off oportunities. Students who are interested in gaining experience in a specific area (detailed below) will need to commit to a minimum of 30 hours.
