Start Golf

What:
A six week course of 40 minute sessions designed for complete beginners who fancy trying a new activity or for those who have played a little golf before and want to improve their skills and have some fun at the same time.

Additional Information:
All equipment will be provided. No specialised clothes necessary.

Criteria:
No previous experience needed, beginners are welcome.

Booking Information:
You can book your course using our Online Booking System, by visiting Sport Central or Coach Lane Reception or by telephoning either facility on 0191 227 4700 (Sport Central) or 0191 215 6575 (Coach Lane).

If you choose to use our Online Booking System you will need to do the following:

  1. Enter your Login ID (students and staff- this is your computer username). If you are not a student or staff member of Northumbria University you will need to sign up.
  2. At the top right hand corner click on change and select Courses and Coaching
  3. Click on ‘Make a Booking’ and then select Start Courses
  4. Then choose the Start Golf course that you would like to book.

 

Develop Golf

What:
This course develops the core skills taught on the Start Golfing course and is the perfect next step. It is also for those people who have played before and want to improve their skills whilst having some fun at the same time.   
A six week course of 40 minute sessions
Max 4 people per course, 2 per simulator ( 1 coach)

Additional Information:
Equipment will be provided but you can bring your own if you have it.

Participants need to have some experience of playing before or have previously attended the Start Golfing course.
