Main Arena

The jewel in the crown of Sport Central is the North East's newest arena. Offering 3,000 individual seats all with excellent sight lines of the main court, the best DAKTRONICS digital displays of any comparable UK arena and the highest quality audio and lighting, Sport Central delivers an unrivalled spectator experience.  Sport Central is fully media enabled and includes a dedicated press balcony, broadcast media facilities and player interview areas.

The Main Arena can be presented as three separate courts, for example to provide netball, basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, or it can be used in a single arena format to host and showcase elite level sport.
